The Circuit Riders' song, Powderfinger, on the new release, Let the Ride Begin, continues to climb the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey. Powderfinger is currently 11th, previously, 12th in September, 13th in August, 16th in June, and came in 18th in May. Go to: Bluegrass Unlimited website to check out the survey.

The album "Let the Ride Begin" aslo made the Roots Music Report, currently 13th in the bluegrass chart.

The Circuit Riders' song, Powderfinger, on the new release, Let the Ride Begin, made the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey Top 30 Songs for March and April. Powderfinger came in 28th in March, and 24th in April.

Exciting News!

The awaited album release date for The Circuit Riders' new album has officially been set for February 20, 2007. The album will be released on the Pinecastle Records label. The album has been mailed out to radio stations, so listen for The Circuit Riders on bluegrass radio! Call and request your favorite Circuit Riders song. You can order your copy of the new release on this website. The album will also be available in stores after the February 20th release date.

Congratulations Greg Luck!

Greg participated in the Celebration of Life: Musicians Against Childhood Cancer project, which has been awarded Album of the Year at the 2006 International Bluegrass Music Awards which was held on Sept. 28, 2006 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville , Tenn. Greg Luck is featured on "Just When I Needed You" and "Tillery Cove". The song, "Healing Kind" was featured on the album as well, which was written by Greg.

On Friday, August 11th, the band was interviewed and performed select songs off their new recording, Let the Ride Begin, on Pinecastle Records. The show will be featured on the Bluegrass Breakdown portion of Nashville Public Radio, hosted by Dave Higgs. Bluegrass Breakdown is a one hour show each Saturday night at 8:00 on Nashville Public Radio, WPLN 90.3 FM, 1430 AM.

What do you get when you cross former members of the legendary Country Gentlemen with someone who has played with everyone from Lynn Morris, Bluegrass Cardinals, J.D. Crowe and IIIrd Tyme Out? The Circuit Riders. Playing everything from smokin instrumentals to country ballads, The Circuit Riders are one of the most electric Bluegrass bands you will ever see. This all-star lineup, which consists of some of the best in the business, is currently juggling recording their new project for Pinecastle Records and playing many dates. The Circuit Riders are: Greg Luck, Greg Corbett, Darin Aldridge, Billy Gee, and Jaret Carter.

Greg Luck, vocals, plays guitar and fiddle. His resume includes stints with Redwing, Lost and Found, The Bass Mountain Boys, Bluegrass Cardinals, JD Crowe and the New South, and IIIrd Tyme Out. Greg is not only a seasoned performer, he is also a highly decorated song writer. He has written songs for The Bluegrass Cardinals, IIIrd Tyme Out, Dan Seals, and Leann Womack. His song “The Healing Kind” performed by Womack is a Triple Platinum seller!

Greg Corbett, vocals, banjo and gitjo . Greg has been nominated 10 times for banjo player of the year from The Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA), winning the award in 1996. A thirteen year veteran of The Country Gentlemen, Greg has appeared on The Grand Ole Opry, Greg has toured the US, Canada, England and Japan.

Darin Aldridge, vocals, mandolin and guitar. Darin is a seven-year veteran of the Country Gentlemen and 4 time SPBGMA nominee for Mandolin Player of the Year. He also has a highly- successful solo project, “Call it a Day,” with guests Kenny and Amanda Smith, Shawn Lane, Tim Stafford, Lou Reid, Greg Luck, Billy Gee, Jaret Carter, Greg Corbett.  Darin Aldridge "Call it a Day " PRC 6506.

Billy Gee, vocals, upright bass . He is a former member of The Country Gentlemen and has delighted crowds and musician's alike with his solid-energetic bass playing. He played with the Gentlemen at this past presidential inauguration.

Jaret Carter, vocals, dobro and guitar . Since ’96 he has shared the stage or studio with the likes of Bryan Sutton, Aubrie Haynie, Charlie Waller, Doyle Lawson, Vassar Clements, Kenny and Amanda Smith, Jason Burleson, Tim Stafford, Clay Jones, Jack Lawrence, and Russ Kunkel.
